Each year from the end of May until early June Swaledale is alive with music and arts events. From Richmond town to the smallest of villages, something will happening where ever you go. This year the festival is held from May 28th to June 3rd.
The Guardian and the Daily Telegraph describe the festival as “one of the best in the country” while The Yorkshire Post describe it as “a perfect marriage of local and international artists”. And visitors just keep coming back!
If you’re thinking of experiencing the festival, it isn’t confined to just Swaledale; this year events are held in Wensleydale and Bedale too.
